Bidisha Sen
Lead UI/UX Designer & Mentor
I design digital products. I work with real-world problems. And I help aspiring designers learn how to do the same.
Hi, I’m Bidisha.
I’m a Lead UI/UX Designer working across SaaS products, websites, mobile applications, dashboards, and digital experiences.
Alongside my professional work, I mentor aspiring designers through UI UX Growth Lab.
My journey into UI/UX wasn’t traditional — and that’s one of the reasons I understand what it feels like to start from somewhere completely different.
My Journey
I didn’t begin my career as a designer.
I came from a non-technical background and started my professional journey in business development and consulting. My curiosity about digital products gradually pulled me toward UI/UX.
I started learning, experimenting, designing, making mistakes, and learning again.
Over time, UI/UX became more than a career transition for me. It became something I genuinely wanted to understand — how people use technology, why some experiences feel effortless, and how design can solve real problems.
Today, I work as a Lead UI/UX Designer.
And that journey is something I want every person who joins me to remember:

What I've Worked On
I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of digital products — from complex business applications to consumer-facing experiences.
My professional work includes:
Products
SaaS Solutions
HRMS, ERP, business platforms, dashboards, and other complex digital products.
Websites
Business websites, e-commerce experiences, travel platforms, and brand websites.
Mobile Applications
Healthcare, travel, e-commerce, education, and other app experiences.
Gaming & Interactive
Digital experiences where engagement, interaction, and visual storytelling play an important role.
How I Think About Design
Start with the problem
Understand what we’re solving, who we’re solving it for, and why it matters before designing a screen.
Design within reality
Balance business goals, technical limitations, deadlines, stakeholders, and changing requirements.
Think beyond the screen
Consider the complete journey, interactions, information flow, and everything that happens before and after the screen.
Design for the product
Think about scalability, consistency, and how the experience will evolve across SaaS, websites, apps, dashboards, and more.
Keep learning from the industry
Stay connected to changing tools, workflows, and AI — and bring those learnings into my mentoring.
I don’t just design screens. I design experiences that have to work in the real world.
Why I Mentor
When I was transitioning into UI/UX, I had many questions.
What should I learn first?
Which skills actually matter?
How do I build a portfolio?
What does the industry expect from me?
When am I ready to apply for a job?
I Teach What I Actually Do
I work in the real world.
Real products, users, business goals, developers, stakeholders, design systems and constraints shape the way I think about design.
I stay close to change.
AI, new technologies, evolving workflows and changing expectations continuously influence how I work.
I bring that into mentoring.
What I experience professionally becomes practical guidance for designers preparing for the industry.
How I Mentor
I don’t believe every aspiring designer needs the same path.
A beginner needs different guidance from a career switcher.
Someone who knows Figma but cannot solve a UX problem needs something different from someone who has never opened a design tool.
So I start by understanding where you are.
Then we work on where you need to go with one-on-one ui ux design course sessions.
My focus is not simply:
“Can you design this screen?”
It’s:
“Can you understand the problem, make a decision, explain why you made it, and improve it when someone challenges it?”
That’s the kind of designer I want to help you become.
Professional Experience & Learning
Google UX Design Professional Certificate
Hands-on work, AI-assisted workflows, new design practices, emerging technologies, and evolving industry requirements continue to shape my approach.
Learning doesn’t stop when a certification ends. The work itself is where the real learning happens.

Let’s Connect
I didn’t have the perfect background when I started.
I simply kept learning, experimenting, and moving forward. Today, I get to design real products and help others discover that they can become designers too.
If you’re exploring UI/UX, looking for practical guidance, or simply want to follow my journey, I’d love to connect.
Your journey doesn’t have to look like mine. It just needs to move you forward.
